A little gem from the house of Ibanez arrives at Guitars4You - In fact it is a 2002 Ibanez RG470, finished in a cool looking titanium ice - When it comes to pointy headstock 'supa strats' loaded with locking trems and speedy necks, then Ibanez pretty much rule the waves - Various models from various factories and indeed various countries, with different price points, can certainly confuse the customer - It is generally accepted, that the best of the far eastern built models, always come from Japan, so this is good news regarding this 2002 RG470 - Yes you can still buy a new RG470 from Ibanez, but whilst it shares the same name it is a more basic model and not Jap model - Further good news regarding this model is that the previous owner spent the best part of £250 having the pick-ups updated, with the Dimarzio Evo Red humbuckers in the enck and bridge position and a Dimarzio HS single coil in the middle - Essentially giving you the Steve Vai pick-up options on a very affordable Ibanez - The whole guitar is in excellent condition, so the frets are fine and that metallic titanium ice finish is exceptionally clean - Re-strung and set-up with a set of 9's and of course a fluid playing action on the 24 fret wizard neck/fingerboard - The price also includes a deluxe Hiscox case, worth around £70
