We all know that a Tokai ain't a Gibbo - Equally we all know that a good Jap Tokai can give many LP Standards a run for the money, especially many of the models from the 70's, 80's and 90's - Certainly a Jap Tokai can hold its head up high with regard to its playing performance, tone and build quality and will undoubtedly destroy many of the budget Gibson LP models that are around today for under a grand - Bottom line, for £750 it is very hard to fault this 2009 Tokai LS95

Yet I have still to supply you with all the juicy details regarding a number of serious updates that can allow this Tokai to move up the 'wow' league table a notch or two - The previous owner very kindly spent a serious amount of money improving the tonal features so lets update you know - How about a pair of Gibson Burstbuckers - With a number 1 in the neck position and a number 2 in the bridge position - Then how about a vintage spec'd wiring loom (Fake 58 style) that includes a pair of bumble bee capacitors - Then add a Gotoh vintage spec'd tailpiece and to top it all off a Faber bridge (ABR-1 style with solid/milled brass saddles) - Finally a Tokai shaped tweed case completes the package - You almost don't need to know any more, but nevertheless I'll give you some details regarding the condition - Only light playing wear is visible, so whilst it is not in new showroom condition, we are only talking about surface grazes to the shiny gloss lacquer - Sensible LP weight - Re-strung and set-up with a set of 10's - Guitars4You can offer this outstanding package at £750
