Full details will be listed below very shortly, but before then a couple of issues to touch upon

One is the condition :- as a one owner guitar that is now 4 years old, the guitar is in 'excellent plus ' condition - A detailed tour will only reveal extremely light playing wear, so whilst it is not a 100% as new showroom condition, it is the next level - So basically no issues to worry you on that score - Re-strung and set-up with a set of 9's (as per original factory spec) - Note we can fine tune the set-up to suit your needs, as required - Includes the deluxe Suhr case and dealer order/certificate/spec sheet

Two is the Floyd Rose Trem - I suppose that immediately the Floyd Rose trem will alienate many customers - Yet if you desire a hand built, 'grown-up' Super Strat based guitar, that looks majestic, with a fast fluid playing action, as against the mass produced Jap spec'd models that are readily available, then this Suhr Modern may well be your next prized possession - Nothing against the highly spec'd Jap 'Super Strat's' (you know the brand names I'm talking about) but they hardly have the style and class that is found in abundance in this Suhr

Three is the spec - This Suhr Modern is highly spec'd throughout and I'm sure it only took a nano second for you to notice that magnificent quilted maple top, decked out in fireburst finish, that gives the guitar such a seductive appeal - I must admit at this stage, that no way do our pics do the guitar justice - The quilted maple top moves as you look at it from different angles, as you have the benefit of a 3D vision when viewed in the flesh, whereas the pics only supply you with a 'flat' image, so whilst it still looks nice, wait 'till you see it in the flesh

Extra upgraded options include the 'natural maple edged binding' on the body, a Suhr signature on the rear of the headstock, plus a Suhr abalone logo on the gloss finished headstock facia

If you require a guitar that has a fast fluid playing action that loves to sit on the outside lane, in top gear, then this Suhr has your name on it - The 'Modern Elliptical' neck profile is a fancy way of saying modern C and/or wide/thin - Very comfortable and very easy to play - The mahogany neck feels 'played in' from day one, with no thick gloss lacquer to drag you back and feel sticky - This is one slick neck to play your favourite licks on The Suhr Aldrich pick-ups have enough quality and warmth to work on clean or subtle overdriven amp settings in a more traditional chilled jazz/blues setting, but I'm sure the guitar will spend a large part of its life with the amp on a hi-gain setting - Tone is smooth and warm and certainly not 'brittle' - Excellent clarity and note separation with full tight lows and highs that cut and bite with out sounding nasty and shrill like - The 5 way switch gives you access to the regular 3 humbucker voices as well as 2 very useful 'single coil' flavoured tones (on position 2 and 4 of the switch) - The volume and tone controls have enough taper to allow you to dial in or out the level of overdrive you require from the amp - Hence you and the guitar control the amp and as such this ensures you have plenty of emotional control directly at your fingertips - Whilst the Suhr Modern is undoubtedly a 'modern' guitar, it is not a stereo-type one trick pony rock machine, although that is still its greatest asset
